Maintain and update the LNS’s register of processing activities; Assist the DPO in developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures; Review contracts (e.g., DPA); Collaborate with the DPO in the event of data breaches and the exercise of data subjects’ rights; Collaborate with administrative and scientific services to carry out data protection impact assessments (DPIAs); Measure potential discrepancies between the establishment’s practices and the legal obligations set by the GDPR or the law in terms of personal data whether in existing processing or processing projects; Analyze the needs of the laboratory’s different services (administration & medical services) in terms of training related to personal data protection; Contribute to the implementation of new tools and methods to facilitate data processing in compliance with regulations; This list of tasks is not intended to be exhaustive. Le Laboratoire national de santé (Institut public au Grand-Duché de Luxembourg) is recruiting, a Postdoctoral scientist in analytical chemistry (PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related field) (m/f) the Unit ‘Environmental Hygiene and Human Biological Monitoring’ (Department Health Protection) in a full time (40h/week), with a fixed-term contract of 12 months (“contrat à durée déterminée CDD”) starting at the earliest convenience. The Service supports the National Service for Environmental Medicine at the Hospital Center Emile Mayrisch (CHEM) and is in charge of the European science-policy programs and the epidemiological surveys in the general and working population in Luxembourg that include human biological monitoring and/or environmental/occupational exposure assessment.
